And we're back! You didn't think that last post was everything did you? I've got seven months of gold here! I have definitely been holdin' out on you, so to make up for it here is a compilation of more pictures than you've ever wanted to see. Starting with Syd's pet caterpillar that lasted for an entire day before it met it's untimely but totally expected premature death!
"Pilly!!!"
Now that's what I call an Animal House!
The queen of death herself
This is not helping Joe's fear of clowns.
Yay, another animal to torture!
Ta Da! A dead fish! What a shocker. Look at the smile on her face.
Sometimes even sweet Charlotte falls prey to Sydney's torture strikes.
Dad and Ah-Ah (at a brewery of course)
"This toy is awesome! I love everyone!"
Photo shoot at Carlsbad Flower Fields for Mothers Day
What a couple of cuties!
Is that Syd in a skirt and actually smiling?! It can be done!
This sweeties got no problem hammin' it up!
Give it up people--I'm awesome!
Weiners roasting on an open fire. Backyard campout 2012 foolios!
Roughing it in the tent
Nature girl painting backyard rocks with nail polish. Amber would be proud.
Tent fun
"Skip the smores and give me the mallow!"
After a nice clean bath inside the house (the only sanitary way to camp), it's time to snuggle in the tent.
"No dad, it makes much more sense for the couch cushions to be like this."
Time for a Fathers Day trip to the beach
Ash brought the cold ones.
Syd's finally met her match. Try putting a necklace on that guy!
"But mom, I don't want to do the blog either."
Picasso McQueen
"Ewww mom, finger painting is uncivilized!"
Sisters Forever!
Watch out for these girls. They're all over the road!
A baby's gotta have a little bling.
Ash has a front row seat to the bubble show.
Sure Chinny may be mildly suffocating, but isn't this the cutest thing you've ever seen!!!
The photogenic family minus one at the San Diego Botanical Gardens
"Let's do this big sis, I'm taking you down!"
Syd and Ro after a vicious book battle
RoRo's 2nd Birthday
Shannon and Ash
Shannon, Griff, Grandpa, and her royal highness with the high back chair
Sir Elton is her name.
Ear jewelry!
Another baby at brewery
Joe's side of the garage (My side is hot pick of course.)
Charlotte relax, you're working too hard.
The Gardenator
You're never too young for Bieber fever!
My prize piece
"RoRo a princess, who does she think she's kidding?"
We visited Disneyland California Adventures to meet the real Lightning McQueen!
Later Sydney informed me that the real Lightning McQueen was on the tv screen in the car and this car at Disneyland was just pretending.
The swinging cars on this ferris wheel are awesome. Try it when you go. (Ashley hated every second of it. Poor little sisters, they're just along for the ride.)
This is the kind of ride Ash likes. Save the $87 and give the kid a toy and some milk.
Our little Lightning McQueen groupie
I hope LM isn't seeing this now.
Looking cool in the Toy Story line
No shoes, no shirt, but I still get service.
The Kelzers visited in July.
Audrey, Syd, and Ro handled themselves quite nicely at the Old Spaghetti Factory before the slopfest began.
Gramps and his excessive number of grandkids (even missing two)
We hosted a 4th of July block party. We came in 4th for the most patriotic family award. Say what?! Can you see that chalk flag back there? (Just kidding, we were voted most likely to get a tattoo of a bald eagle holding an American flag in its mouth while perched on the Statue of Liberty award.)
This little American knows it's time to celebrate!
Wings n Things--think The Peach Pit combined with The Max and you've almost reached the coolness of our local hangout.
Pre-birthday celebration for Ash, Syd, and Bea
Then we went to Cayucos for a week with the Drobicks.
Birthday girl and the Ringmaster
Quinn, Sydney, and Ashley wearing their fine birthday headgear
Ashley discovers presents, well at least the wonders of wrapping paper.
Hanging with Uncle Matt and Xavier on the beach wearing a sweatshirt and pants. That's my girl!
With a face that cute, who needs arms and legs?
Sandy sisters
Beat it, one day! Okay maybe this puzzle took more than one day, but Amber and I loved every second of it. Chocolate Rain anyone?
Morro Rock
Quinn lining up her empties
I'm not quite sure if Nana is loving this, any opinions?
Sand art with the cuzs.
Aunt Gabby with Xavier and Quinn
A rare sighting of a sleeping fireball
Beach swings, these kids have got it good, unless a shark eats them of course.
Though you can't tell, Syd is 50 feet up on this rock.
The girls just loved sitting in their holes and the sand just loved sitting in their cracks.
Party Time!!! Syd and Ash had a birthday blowout in the backyard. I told Syd we're getting a bounce house and she said don't even think about it unless it's a dragon castle! What are the chances?
Ash, Ro, and Syd enjoying the spread
Ro sure cleans up nice, but we all know the hidden darkness inside. She can dump out every toy you own in a matter of seconds.
Friends and family pretending that there's not complete anarchy happening inside the house.
Uncle Pat taking revenge for some cheap water gun squirts to the crotch.
Syd really had a tough time with the pinata. Not because she doesn't have guns of steel, but because why would anyone want to hurt a dinosaur, they're so cute.
July 22 birthday girls. Syd is 3 and Ash is 1.
Syd insisted on a dinosaur cake while Ashley settled for a misshapen dino egg (or poop depending how you look at it.)
"Mom did you say I was eating dinosaur poop?"
Nate's party outfit. Make your own joke.
Syd, Ro, and Syd's crotch enjoying the bounce house
Syd's cool new Lightning McQueen scooter
Sydney was mauled by this bird shortly after this picture was taken. Let's just say there was a whole lot of goosing going on.
We wrapped up the girls' birthdays with a swing at the beach. After swinging we walked along the beach which sounds nice until all Ashley wants to do is eat every grain of sand in sight and Sydney wants to find "cute little spiders" on the cliffs. These girls are something else!
